Faculty of Environment Three Minute Thesis Competition 2023
The Faculty of Environment is pleased to announce our Faculty heat for the 2023 3MT competition, to be held in-person only on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Present your thesis and its significance in just three minutes with a single, static slide to compete for cash prizes!
- First Place $400
- Second Place $200
- People's Choice $150
The winner and runner up will proceed to represent our Faculty at the university-wide final to compete for the top prize.
The deadline to register is March 9, 2023. Submit your presentation slide to lauriew@sfu.ca by March 14, 2023. Only graduate students in the Faculty of Environment may enter. Visit the SFU Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies 3MT page for contest rules and eligibility, as well as workshops, practice sessions, slide templates, and other resources.
Can't make it to our Faculty Heat?
For those who cannot attend but would like to compete, there is a seperate wildcard heat hosted by GPS open to graduate students from all faculties.
