Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are subject to change, provincial legislation, and Board of Governor's approval.  Normally, tuition rates will increase by 2% each academic year and are assessed on the same basis for graduate domestic and international students.  The rates provided below are based on the 2017-2018 academic year.

Tuition for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program is assessed on a per-credit basis at $290.10/credit.  Students can anticipate of a minimum of 46 credits in the program, for a minimum tuition total of $13,344.60.

Tuition for the Master of Sciences (MSc) program is assessed on a per-term basis at $1,834.63/term.  Students can anticipate a minimum of six terms in the program.  An MSc student who has completed six terms of registration (excluding on-leave registration) will pay half the per-term tuition rate in subsequent terms.

Tuition for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program is assessed on a per-term basis at $1,834.63/term.  Students can anticipate a minimum of nine terms in the program.  A PhD student who has completed eight terms of registration (excluding on-leave registration) will pay half the per-term tuition rate in subsequent terms.

In addition to tuition, graduate students are assessed approximately $375 per term in ancillary fees.

All graduate students are required to maintain basic medical insurance coverage, and are automatically enrolled in graduate extended health and dental benefits plan.  For more information on medical insurance requirements, please click here.
