Arlette saw her own university experience at SFU as an opportunity for her to create the life she wanted. She loved taking courses that broadened her horizons and giving back to the SFU community. She understands that the student experience is rife with opportunity and challenges, and she is there to guide you in the direction you want to head in.
As the advisor for all undergraduate students in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Arlette provides academic advice to students, information on Health Sciences undergraduate programs, and ways to involved on campus. She is a facilitator for SFU's Passport to Leadership program, and believes that there are many unique opportunities for students seeking personal and professional development.
Arlette completed a BA in Criminology and Psychology at SFU. She is currently enrolled in the Education Psychology Master's program in the Faculty of Education. When she is not chatting with students about which courses to take or how to join a great student club, she is growing vegetables in the SFU community garden.
