Biography

As the Manager, Graduate Programs, Kellie is responsible for the delivery of graduate programs for the Faculty of Health Sciences. This includes administering and coordinating graduate program development initiatives, instructional appointments and evaluations, and semester offerings and registration for the Faculty's graduate programs. Kellie also provides academic advice and administrative support to prospective and registered graduate students, manages the budget for graduate programs, and coordinates program-related submissions to the Senate Committee on Graduate Studies and calendar revisions. She participates in long range graduate course planning and evaluation, administers all data collection and reporting activities for graduate programs, and supervises graduate program support staff.

Kellie has over 12 years of experience working in post-secondary education with the Justice Institute of British Columbia and more recently, in the SFU Faculty of Environment. Her experience includes various aspects of program planning and management, including program development and evaluation, administration, financial management, recruitment and retention, and student support.
