Our Dining team is happy to welcome you!
Here's what you need to know about Dining Hall in the summer 2022 term:
Hours of Operation
April 28 – May 7: Closed
May 8: Open 7am-10pm for the rest of Summer Term
How do I access Dining Hall?
Meal plan holders access Dining Hall using their SFU student card. If you are a new student, get your SFU student ID card ASAP, find out how here. New Students without SFU ID cards will be given a wristband for temporary Dining Hall access.
Dining Hall is open to the public, if you're not on a meal plan, find the door rates here.
Take-out Meals Only
The Dining Hall is currently take-out only.
You will arrive at Dining Hall, select food and beverage in a compostable container and take it to go.
Please keep in mind, meal plans are designed for personal consumption only. SFU ID Cards and food cannot be shared—if you know a student that needs support, find out what food security options are available here.
Reusables Pilot Program
Dining Hall is extending the Reusables Pilot Program over the summer term, allowing students to use a returnable stainless steel takeout container in place of a compostable container. If you are interested in participating in this free program, click here to learn more.
Where do I eat?
SFU has installed a heated tent adjacent to Dining Hall for the community to dine in—the tent will open on May 8th for the summer term.
Students will also have the option of taking meals back to residence or eating their meals elsewhere on campus.
