Minter Gardens was opened by Brian and Faye Minter in 1980 over top of a rock fall which rendered the land unsuitable for farming. 11 gardens cover 32 acres of flora including Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinths, Anemones, Lilies, Ranunculus, and Alliums. The garden also boasts a 12' tall floral sculpture in the shape of a peacock which includes a 50' tail.
The grounds also include 2 restaurants, The Trillium Restaurant and Conservatory and the Garden Cafe. Click here for more information including sample menus.
