Westwood Plateau Golf is nestled within the master-planned community of Westwood Plateau developed by Wesbild Holdings Ltd.

Wesbild purchased 1,410 acres on the slopes of lower slopes EagleMountain, located in the City of Coquitlam, a suburb of Greater Vancouver, from the government of British Columbia in 1989.

In the course of the development of Westwood Plateau, Wesbild planted over 10,000 trees, created almost 700 acres of green parks/community forest, developed an integrated trail system and used innovative techniques to minimize damage to fish bearing creeks. These initiatives have since been adopted by the development industry as the standard for responsible development in sensitive areas.
