PROBLEMS

The main issue or limitatioin with my project is the fact that the variables are very subjective. There were so many potential factors to examine that I had to choose the ones that I felt were most important. That creates a somewhat biased opinion and produces results that are characteristic of what I look for. Technical problems involved converting certain vector files to raster using IDRISI. Sometimes it was difficult to produce a clear image that was not distorted or pixilated.

 

Things I would do differently for next time:

-A questionaire or survey to find out what factors matter most to people (minimize biased opinion)

-Use decision wizard and create a MCE and compare and contrast the different results

-Look more in depth into certain factors, such as hours of operation; are they regular business hours or weekend? and shop artists; are more artists female or male? Do clients have a preference?
