Normally, Master's applicants should have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.25 to enter the program. Admission is generally in the Fall semester. Entering M.A. students are expected to have an undergraduate degree in geography or a related social science; it may be possible to fulfill these requirements after admission, although this will increase course-load and may slow completion of the M.A. M.Sc. applicants should have a B.Sc. in Geography or a related discipline.
Applicants normally have an M.A. or M.Sc. in Geography or a related discipline, although it is possible to enter the Ph.D. program without a prior graduate degree. Students admitted to the Ph.D. program without an appropriate background may be required to make up specified courses.
