Ecohydrological Controls on Carbon Drainage Fluxes in a Coastal Pacific Watershed

Abstract: Forest management continues to be a significant feature in landscapes of British Columbia. This talk will focus on how hydrology interacts with the carbon cycle, and how forest harvest impacts hydrology with knock-on effects for carbon fluxes.

Bio: Dr. Mark Johnson is Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Ecohydrology at UBC with a joint appointment in the Institute for Resources, Environment, Sustainability and the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences.
