Mis-adventures in the field - Travelogues

Do you ever wonder about what goes on behind the scenes of your colleagues' research? Come find out at the Geography Graduate Association's Travelogues on Feb. 14 in RCB 6152 from 11-1pm.

As for the specifics, the Communications & Events Committee is excited to announce Meg Holden as the faculty representative for this event. Dr. Holden is a professor in geography and cross appointed with urban studies where she is both professor and director. Katie Gravestock will be the grad student rep, and will reflect on her fieldwork during her M.A. Rumour has it that there may be a mystery guest as well, please stay tuned!

For those of you not familiar with the Travelogues event, it is an informal opportunity to learn about fieldwork-related, community-engaged, community-based, and similar experiences from other departmental members. Speakers reflect on opportunities and challenges presented by these first-hand research and learning opportunities. These fun and engaging presentations are followed by a light lunch where you can socialized with the speakers and other attendees.
