Health policy researcher and Geography PhD Andrew Longhurst was interviewed by CBC News, the Vancouver Sun, and Simi Sara Show on CKNW about changes to how the province collects and reports COVID-19 data, which will leave researchers and the public with less access to timely data about the spread of COVID-19 at the local scale. This comes at a time when public health measures have been removed and individuals are told to manage and assess their own risk, and yet the public now has far less access to high-quality data to make these assessments.
