«Ma thèse en 180 secondes »

Vous êtes un.e étudiant.e à la maitrise ou au doctorat qui peut s’exprimer en français? Participez au concours «Ma thèse en 180 secondes »!

En collaboration avec l’Université de l’Alberta, le Campus Saint-Jean et le Centre de la francophonie de UBC, le Bureau des affaires francophones et francophiles de SFU présentera la première édition de la finale de l'Ouest (AB, C-B) de #MT180», qui se déroulera en ligne le mercredi, 5 mai!

Wildcard Heat

The wildcard competition is open to graduate students who can't attend their faculty heat or whose faculty did not have a heat. Participants are only allowed to compete once in either their faculty heat or the wildcard competition.

SFU Final

The winner and runner up from each heat will proceed to the university wide final to compete for the top prize. A People's Choice winner will also be selected by the audience at the final.

Western Regional Competition

We'll fly SFU's winner to the 3MT Western Regional Competition.

Organized by the Western Canadian Deans of Graduate Studies (WCDGS), up to 17 graduate students from Western Canadian Deans' Agreement participating universities are eligible to participate. The top three competitors at the Western Regional 3MT Competition will go on to compete at the National Canadian Competition.

National 3MT Virtual Competition

Sponsored by the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS), three graduate students will move forward from the Western Regional competition to the nationals.
