Master's of Applied Science (MASc) student in the Faculty of Applied Sciences
I graduated from AAST as a mechanical engineer with an experience in embedded systems field as well as industrial automation. At the moment, I'm pursuing my master's degree under Dr. Park and Dr. Marzouk's supervision in the field of Industry 4.0 at School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO SFU?
I wanted to do a master's degree under the supervision of top-notch professors as well as state-of-the-art equipment.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?
I'm trying to improve connectivity and develop new control methods for industrial systems.
WHAT ARE YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYING ABOUT YOUR STUDIES/RESEARCH AT SFU?
Being supervised by Dr. Park and Dr. Marzouk who helped me a lot to get adapted to the system School of Mechatronic Systems does have, and professionally guided me throughout my degree.

Don't underestimate your abilities. I have been told before that you are an under-average student and I'm not that intelligent to achieve my goals, but with persistence and hardworking, you can accomplish what you want.
