'We Can End All Violence against Women' ('We Can' for short) is an international campaign that seeks to end gender-based violence. We are building a broad social movement that challenges and changes the attitudes and beliefs that support and perpetuate violence. The time to act is now!

Violence against women is both a violation of human rights and an impediment to achieving gender equality. Yet in many communities across British Columbia, just as in the rest of Canada and the world, violence against women is accepted as ‘normal behaviour’.

It is only by challenging these perceptions of ‘normalcy’ that we can bring change about. We believe that changing beliefs and attitudes surrounding violence against women will change behaviour, and make our communtiies safer for everyone.
