February 14th has become a national day of remembrance for Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and girls as a Women’s Memorial March. Since the 1970’s there have been 4000 women who have gone either missing or been murdered in Canada. By sharing knowledge and spreading awareness we keep the conversations going we keep the women’s spirits alive.

We hope you join us during February 6-10th to light a candle, hang a ribbon on the vigil in Convocation Mall, and/or attend a discussion group. We will also be having a march on the 10th to bring light to the DTES Women’s Memorial March on February 14th.

If you have any questions, or want any information on volunteering for the event feel free to email fnsaindi.am@gmail.com
