Throughout April and May 2014, the Peer Health Educators led an evaluation for the renovation of the AQ 2000 student lounge (located across from RCB main entrance). The Peers interacted and engaged in conversation with students about the space and collected feedback by way of interviews and surveys. Students reported being highly satisfied with the space renovation and that having spaces like this on campus significantly contributes to their well-being and overall experience at SFU.
“Open, bright and comfortably furnished spaces where students can congregate with friends and meet new people help to relieve academic stress and also allow for students to embrace the campus more fully.”
