JOB DESCRIPTION HELP

SFU WIL (Work Integrated Learning) will review your job description to ensure it meets Co-op requirements.

WAGE SUBSIDY SUBMISSION

Qualified Co-op work terms may be submitted by your organization to SWPP federal funding partner for up to 70% of the student's salary.

STACKABLE GRANTS

Stackable grants: SWPP federal funds can be added to other non-federal funding sources, up to a max of 100% of the Co-op student wage.  

Does your job qualify as a Co-op work term for Summer 2021?

SFU Co-op has introduced temporary flexible COVID-19 measures to accommodate employment needs during Summer 2021.
To qualify, your job must be:

RELATED TO STUDIES

Work to be related to a students' academic program.

FLEXIBLE

Minimum of 280 hours, can be part time and have a delayed start date up to July 5, 2021

SUPERVISED REMOTELY OR PHYSICALLY DISTANT

Student can work remotely but must be supervised.

Supervisor required to discuss the student's work term with the Co-op Program.

REGISTERED AS CO-OP

Student must register the employment opportunity as a co-op work term.
