"How to Design a History MA Thesis Project” This workshop is designed for Social Studies teachers considering graduate studies in History. It will break down the application process into clear, discrete steps. The workshop will provide you with a solid sense of what to expect from the program. We will help you brainstorm research questions and will introduce some of the varieties of source collections you might use. Professors with experience supervising MA students will lead the workshop. Advanced MA students will discuss their thesis process from start to finish. Participants will leave the workshop with potential research questions as well as a road map for identifying and applying to a MA program in History.
• Application deadline is January 15, 2019.
The History Department's regular application procedures and requirements apply to applicants to this special scheduling for BC teachers.
The only difference is that applicants will indicate a Summer 2019 start date.
