Code Key

Temporary Instruction Appointment Positions Acronyms
SI = Sessional Instructor; LLEC = Term Lecturer (Limited Term);
TA = Teaching Assistant; and T/M (or T-M)=Tutor-Marker.

CODE = denotes Centre for Online and Distance Education. CODE course section are denoted by 'C100.' Unless otherwise indicated, non-C100 are in-person sections. Some CODE sections may require in-person on-campus invigilation of midterm and final exams.

Section Numbers: D=Daytime sections, E=Evening, A or N=FNEP sections, J=SFU NOW sections. (Eg. D100 denotes a day time primary section component such as a Lecture. E101 denotes an evening non-primary section such as a Tutorial or a Lab.)

The SFU Term Number: This number shows the century, year, and the term (Spring=1, Summer=4, Fall=7). "1207" means 21st Century, year 2020, and Term #7 for the Fall Academic Term; thus the term number "1207" refers to "Fall 2020".   ('1204' refers to Summer 2020.)
