Analysis The concept expressed through these pictures is about my conscientious dedication to studies. Picture 1 is balanced and dynamic while the line of the cusp of the book on the left and the line of the edge of the desk on the right establish a triangle shape with the glasses and create a sense of movement towards the corner of the desk. The close snapshot of the glasses enhances its dominant position and draws the viewer’s attention to perceive the image from my perception through the lenses. The repetition of highlights in analogous colors on the book attracts the viewer’s eyes to recognize the conscientiousness I have devoted to studies. In picture 2, my arms and the book on my legs establish a balanced-triangle shape, and the book lying on the ground offsets the weight on the right I am facing to. Also, the bookshelves on two sides create a sense of balance; and the repetition of books establishes a movement towards me, the dominant, to let the viewer recognizes how single-minded I am while I am exploring knowledge. The dominant is furthermore developed by the colour contrast between my clothes and the ground and by the vertical movement towards my chin from my elbow. In picture 3, while the brightness contrast and the lines of the books move the attention to the right, the repetition of the books creates a sense of stability and an upward movement which represents the advance I have made on my academic path.
