New/Replacement ID Cards

You may need an ID Card for the following reasons:

  • To identify you for virtual exams
  • If you plan to visit campus or live in SFU Residence and Housing
  • If you use your U-Pass BC to access TransLink public transit

In an effort to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus we have transitioned our ID Card production to an online process. If you require an ID Card, please complete the web form below, and submit all required documentation. Your card will be mailed to the mailing address you’ve provided in goSFU. The pickup option is limited to those students living in SFU Residence and Housing.

Note: All ID card requests require a photo and valid ID in order to be processed.

If you have questions about this process, please contact us.

Please be advised that in the event of a problem with your request (e.g., image file) or incomplete submission, all communication about your request for a SFU student ID will be sent to your SFU email account only. We encourage you to check your SFU email account regularly.
