Come and join SFU's Creative Writing Workshop

January 12, 2018

Do you enjoy writing stories?
Would you like to read other people’s stories?

Come and learn how to improve your writing skills while being supported in a community of like-minded writers.

StoryShop”, led by Dr. Susan Barber, SFU's Faculty of Education, will meet once a month, September to April, on Tuesday evenings on the Burnaby campus. Participants will be asked to share a minimum of three stories and provide feedback to other authors. At the end of the Spring 2018 semester, we will compile an anthology and publish our work (cost: $15.00).

Another significant benefit for students who write together is that they form deep friendships, have a sense of belonging on campus and enjoy more well-being.

Participants need no prior experience in creative writing, just an authentic desire to be part of a special group of people.

Next workshop is January 24, 4:45 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
