Sauro: "It is difficult in Italian universities. The study is too academic. [Academics are] not enough. Toscani looks at other ways of working and communicating, and this is what we are interested in. We want innovation, new ideas, and the future. Florence has no new projects. They focus on history and preserve buildings. But why preserve buildings from the 1970's? This is an important distinction of value. We are here at La Sterpaia to learn a different point of view."
