Recordings

To aid in the in-field tours, recordings have been made in MP3 format to be downloaded by the participants of the field study. When coming face to face with a church, building or location in Italy, these recordings are meant to refresh the memory of the students by giving a brief narrative of important facts explaining what makes that specific artifact important or special.
Each topic has an icon beside it that when clicked will open a pop-up window of a slideshow. The slideshows will discuss topics in audio format accompanied by images for visual context. The audio files are available for download so that each location (Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Milan) will have a zip file with a set of related recordings.
These recordings are done by Katrina Chua who participated in the field school in 2008. For more information about the work that she and her group did during their year in the ItaliaDesign program, refer to the 2008 link above.
