JMP 9 for Windows
This software is available to staff, faculty, and students of Simon Fraser University. Please read the following terms and conditions. Downloading the software constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
- Must be used exclusively by staff, faculty, or students of Simon Fraser University
- Must be used within Canada, or
- Used outside of Canada for no longer than three months of the license year
- Must be used exclusively for teaching and research and administrative purposes only
- SFU IT Services does not and can not provide technical support for this or any other downloaded software. Please contact SAS for support.

Minimum Requirements
32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows XP w/ SP2, Windows Vista (except Vista Home Basic edition), Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 (except Starter and Home Basic editions) (more details)
Installation
- Start the download by clicking "Installer", below
- Once downloaded, double-click "JMP_9_Installer_(Windows).zip" to unzip the installer
- Find the extracted folder, then navigate to the installer: JMP_9_Installer_(Windows) > SAS Software Depot > JMP > JMP > 9_0_2 > Windows > JMP > setup.exe
- Double-click "setup.exe"
- When prompted to install .Net Framework 4, click "Yes"
- Proceed through the installation wizard by clicking "Next >" several times
- When prompted, choose to restart your computer
- Upon restart, open JMP 9
First Run
- Download and unzip the license file below
- Run JMP 9
- When prompted to open your license file, navigate to the license file
- Select the license ("JMP902_99GY69_70077534_Win_Wrkstn.txt") and click OK
