Major Applications Outage, Sunday, October 22, 2017get help

The following services have been restored:

  • AEM Author (author.sfu.ca)
  • Canvas (canvas.sfu.ca)
  • SFU Connect: Emails to SFU maillists and from external email addresses

As part of the Strand Hall Data Centre migration to the new SFU Data Centre, there will be a planned outage on Sunday, October 22, 2017, for a number of major applications. The outage window and applications are listed below.

7:00 am – 7:00 pm

  • goSFU (go.sfu.ca) and goSFU mobile

7:00 am – 10:00 am

  • AEM Author (author.sfu.ca)
  • Audio lecture recordings
  • Canvas  (canvas.sfu.ca)
  • FINS (fins.sfu.ca)
  • myINFO (myinfo.sfu.ca)
  • SFU Connect: Internal email from SFU to SFU addresses will be available, and emails to SFU maillists and from external email addresses will be queued for delivery.
  • UPass activations
  • There will be intermittent connectivity for all other administrative systems.

The Mitel phone system will not be impacted during the outage window.
