Set up Mail on your Windows Phone Device. View, compose, and manage messages right on your mobile device.
From the homescreen, tap on the arrow located on the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will open up the applications list.
Tap on Settings > Email + Accounts > Add an Account
Scroll down and tap on Advanced Setup
In the Email Address box ,type in yourUserName@sfu.ca. In the Password box, type in your SFU login password
Tap next > Exchange ActiveSync
Verify that the Email Address, password, and username are correct.
Tap on the domain box and type in sfu.ca
Tap on the server box and type in connect.sfu.ca
Make sure the Server requires encrypted (ssl) connection is checked.
Indicate by typing or tapping a desired item for the following fields:
- Account name (this will appear on the Email Tile on the home screen and applications list)
- Download new content.
- Download email from ...
- Content to Sync
Tap Sign In
Wait for the device to sync to your email account. This may take a moment.
