Biography

Dr. Perry has held previous appointments at the University of Vienna (1973-74) and the Technical University of Berlin (1974-78). His areas of research are formal models of phonological systems, syllable parsing, timing patterns in speech, and language policy as it relates to endangered minority languages. Dr. Perry served as Department Chair from 1988-1995 and 2009-2015.
