SFU AND TECK BRING ANTI-MICROBIAL COPPER PATCHES TO HIGH-TOUCH CAMPUS SURFACES

Have you noticed that doors and other high-touch surfaces around SFU have a new back-to-school look? SFU and Teck Resources are installing hundreds of copper patches on doors, railings and other high-touch points on all three campuses to add an extra layer of protection against germs.

SFU community members need to submit their vaccine declarations by Monday, September 20. The process is for all students, faculty and staff. It is confidential and only takes a few minutes to complete.

Getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is the best thing that you can do to help protect yourself and your loved ones. Check out the list of pop-up vaccination clinics, open to anyone 12+. No appointment or personal health number necessary.

WELCOME BACK TO CAMPUS

Last week, SFU welcomed students, staff and faculty back to its three campuses for the university’s first, primarily in-person semester since the start of spring 2020.

While enrolment figures are to be finalized later this month, both domestic and international student numbers are expected to be on par with the previous year. Learn more about the transition process, class changes and the latest improvements completed around campus.
