RETURN TO CAMPUS

CONNECTING WITH COLLEAGUES OVER COFFEE

Earlier this month, SFU launched a ‘bring a friend to coffee’ initiative to help employees reconnect. With many staff and faculty returning to campuses after almost two years of primarily working and teaching remotely, it was a chance for friends and colleagues to chat and catch up.

VACCINATIONS AVAILABLE ON CAMPUS

If you’re at Burnaby campus tomorrow and need your first or second COVID-19 vaccine, stop by the pop-up vaccination clinic. It’s open to anyone over 12 years of age. No appointment necessary. Additional on-campus clinics are scheduled for next week.

JOIN THE CONVERSATION ABOUT WHY CONSENT MATTERS

This week, SFU’s Sexual Violence Support and Prevention Office (SVSPO) is leading their annual Consent Matters campaign and sharing ways that we can all foster a culture of consent, care and respect at SFU.

Please consider following SVSPO on Facebook and Instagram and sharing this year’s campaign activities with your students or colleagues as we work towards creating a safer campus environment for our whole community. And don’t forget to register for this year’s keynote event on September 23: a special Q&A with sex and emotional literary educator Karen B. K. Chan.
