AI Researcher works to positively integrate robots into society
SFU computer science professor and artifical intelligent (AI) researcher Mo Chen designs AI algorithms teaching robots how to perform tasks that have a positive impact on society. This week, his research was recognized as he was appointed a Canada CIFAR AI Chair.

SFU glassblower brings magic to student and research experiences
SFU glassblower Lucas Clarke has his creations all over the world, from space to the bottom of Marianas Trench. Since joining SFU in 2018, his work has been just as interesting. While he works mostly with SFU scientists, find out why Clarke says his most interesting project so far has been for an archeology professor.
