The university is thankful to the entire SFU community for its patience during this negotiation process. Our focus now turns to strengthening relationships in our community to support the academic success of our students and to nurture a thriving, world-class research environment at SFU.

Following the September 2023 independent report on varsity football, the university will now hire an executive director, Athletics and Recreation. The process is expected to be complete by March 2024.
