AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS (ALS) HERO WINS STAFF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD |
Greg St. Germain, an amiable presence in Athletics and Recreation, won the Community Contribution award for his significant impact in the ALS community. St. Germain dedicates his off-hours to organizing ALS Move to Cure events, and has raised more than $750,000 for research and support. Among other feats, he also volunteers as a councillor in summer camps and served as a keynote speaker at an ALS training conference. |

While the parade begins at noon, arrive early to socialize with colleagues and secure a viewing spot. SFU is proud to support these community-building events as another step towards building visibility for our gender and sexually diverse communities and providing space for all to feel safe and welcome. |
