SHRUM BOWL RECAP

Established in 1967, the rivalry game between SFU and UBC has been played intermittently over the past 45 years and last took place in 2010. Last Friday, under the bright lights and with almost 3,000 fans, the game was played at our home turf at the Burnaby campus. A last-minute play by UBC resulted in their 18-17 victory.

The festival, created by SFU's School for the Contemporary Arts, is back for its fifth year and will take place Friday, Mar. 31 and Saturday, Apr. 1. It celebrates the works of Canadian-based Indigenous filmmakers and talent and features Indigenous cultural traditions.
