SFU was a great school and provided me with both a strong set of mathematical/technical skills as well as a fun graduate school experience.

The most memorable thing about SFU was the strong sense of community within the graduate program.  From late night study sessions to fun poker games/BBQs the graduate community really made SFU stand out. This generosity with time extends to the faculty as well. Both my supervisors (Ralf Wittenberg and Razvan Fetecau) went above and beyond to provide the support I needed in both my course work as well as my research.

The combination of pushing students to excel as well as providing a fun, social and supportive environment made SFU a great place to go to grad school.
