Congratulations to Laura & Bryce!
Congratulations to Laura Gutierrez Funderburk and Bryce Haley, two SFU Mathematics undergraduate students, for being awarded a successful grade in Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP)'s Mathematical Contest in Modelling. Laura and Bryce received this grade by applying data analysis and modeling techniques to predict future energy consumption of four southern states. They both did very well in the compressed timeline and did an excellent job of representing SFU's Math Department.
If you have any questions, or want to find out more about COMAP or the Modeling competition, you can email Brandon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
