Quantitative Placement Test
Due to unusual circumstances, Quantitative Placement Tests and Calculus Readiness Tests are being offered online on May 06 and 08. Details are below.

If, upon admittance to SFU, you don’t meet the prerequisites to take a Q course, you can either pass the Quantitative Placement Test, or complete FAN X99 with a minimum grade of C. Please see the Curriculum Initiative for more information.
If you’re not sure whether your math knowledge is where it needs to be to succeed in a Q course, or if your math background is not recent, we recommend that you take the Q Placement Test, or try a practice test.
Upcoming Q Placement Test Dates:
 May 6 (Wed)
Students choose any 90 minute period between 6:00am and 4:00pm Pacific Time (US and Canada)
 May 8 (Fri)
Students choose any 90 minute period between 6:00am and 4:00pm Pacific Time (US and Canada)
Please note that this test can be written one time only; test rewrites are not allowed. Test details and Registration details are directly below. Please read carefully.
Test Details
You will have 90 minutes to write the test. The alotted time begins automatically when you access the test questions and expires automatically when the time is up. You can write the test during any 90 minute period of the open times. Please note that the test site closes at 4:00pm, so the latest you should begin writing is 2:30pm.
Testing will be done in Canvas. Instructions for accessing the test will be emailed once you have successfully registered.
There are 30 questions on the test. The passing score is 20 out of 30.
 All questions are multiple choice.
The tests should be written with a 4function calculator only.
The test can only be written a single time. Rewrites are not allowed.
Registration is required. Details are below.
