Veselin Jungic presented five workshops titled "Math Catchers: Mathematics in Your Hands" at the "Strengths: Beaufort Delta Education Council Fall In-Service Conference" held between August 26-28 in Inuvik, NWT.

10:20-11:50 - Grade 10-12 Math/Sci Teachers
13:15-14:45 - Grade JK-K Teachers
15:00-16:30 - Grade 1-3 Teachers
Friday, August 28
08:30-09:50 - Grade 7-9 Math/Sci Teachers
10:10-11:30 - Grade 4-6 Teachers

Feedback for your session was great. Fifteen teachers indicated on oursurvey that your session specifically was their favourite (and a wholebunch of others indicated that they liked the "math sessions" in general. Overall, our final ratings were 9s and 10s out of 10 (capturing things like quality of sessions, organization of the presenters, etc.)
I had one of our teachers sum it up perfectly. She said "We've been wondering all day where all those pencil things were coming from. How exciting to see that I was in the last session! I was worried I was goingto miss out. And isn't that what it's all about? Having students from around the school wanting into your class as they know there is some awesome going on?"
