Instructional computing labs offer both Mac and PC computers with software and hardware that is continuously being upgraded to meet the needs of changing technology.  Data projection and computers are included for instructors, providing an ideal setting for software training and marketing.  On-site technical support is provided.

Royal Bank Instructional Computing Centre - IMB Lab 1350

Located on the Main Concourse, IBM Lab 1350 features 32 Dell OptiPlex 790 Workstations with:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-2400 CPU 3.10GHz
  • 4GB RAM
  • 250GB Hard Disk
  • One DVD+RW drive
  • 19” colour LCD monitor
  • Front panel USB and Audio connections
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64
  • Full Internet Access

One additional machine, which is reserved for the instructor, can be connected to a data projector.

Rates

Rates shown are per 8 hour sessions.  A full day session is generally considered from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or from 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm.  Half day bookings of 4 hours or less are available.  Rates include technical support during regular operating hours.  Technical support outside regular hours can be secured at an additional charge of $50.00 per hour.
