Alumni Activities
There are many opportunties to meet other MPP alumni, stay connected with the School and contribute to the growth and development of current students and new graduates.
Policy Job Roundtable event
An annual event held in April or May at the Vancouver campus, that brings together alumni from various sectors and backgrounds to share their best job search insights and strategies with the graduating class of MPP students.
Student Research Showcase
Organized by the MPP Grad Caucus every spring, this poster showcase features Capstone and BC Priorities projects and brings together alumni, Co-op employers, research contributors, SFU faculty, staff and students, and family and friends of the participants!
Information Interviews
Students and new grads greatly appreciate the chance to talk with alumni about job prospects, career advice, professional development, job search strategies and more!
Ottawa Alumni
Alumni in the National Capital Region NCR represent the largest group of SFU MPPs outside of the Greater Vancouver area. A range of activities bring them together on a regular basis include an MPP softball team, speaker series, alumni gatherings, and a Summer MPP Co-op welcome pub night.
