Brain Resilience Workshop

May 15-17, SFU Vancouver Campus and Online

Join us May 15-17 for INN's next workshop where we will be bringing together leading experts in brain resilience.

This three-day workshop will cover several aspects of what determines brain resilience, from cells and circuits, to social and cultural factors. The three days will be thematically organized as follows:


Day 1: Resilience & Mental Health

This workshop will be a hybrid event, held both in-person at SFU's Harbour Centre in downtown Vancouver and virtually on Zoom.

In-person registration fees:

  • Students & postdocs: $30
  • Faculty, staff & others: $60

Registration fees from in-person attendees will be used to offset the costs of a reception, two lunches, and coffee breaks.
The registration deadline for in-person participation is May 8, 2023.

Virtual registration:

Registration to attend virtually via Zoom is free. There is no deadline for virtual registration.

Poster presentations

**ANNOUNCEMENT** Please note that we have extended the abstract submission deadline to May 5, 2023.

We welcome abstract submissions for digital poster presentations at the workshop. Presentations focused on topics of brain resilience are especially encouraged, but those on neuroscience and/or neurotechnology more broadly are also welcome.

Poster presentations will only be held in-person, and poster presenters will be required to register for in-person participation at the workshop. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and should be submitted on or before May 5, 2023. To submit an abstract for a poster presentation, please follow the link below.
