Mail Procedures

Vancouver Campus

Preparation

All outgoing envelopes should be banded together, marked with a keycode number in the upper left hand corner and sorted into the following categories:

  • Canada
  • US
  • International

Intercampus Mail

Intercampus mail must be separated as follows:

  • Burnaby including UBC mail
  • Surrey
  • Harbour Centre including Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue and Segal Graduate School of Business
  • Document Solutions (Printshop & Reprographics)

Canada Post

Canada Post online at www.canadapost.ca for the following:

  • mail rates
  • tracking a package
  • required documentation, i.e., customs forms for the US or international packages
  • postal code look up
  • regulations (size/weight etc.)
  • to calculate a parcel rate (weight, size and postal code required)

Third Class Mail

Third class mail is available only through mailing houses or Canada Post
