CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

An introduction to reading and writing in the academic disciplines. Students with credit for ENGL 199 may not take this course for further credit. Writing.

COURSE DETAILS:

An introduction to the practice and analysis of academic discourse in various disciplines. Prerequisite: 12 units.
Please note that this is neither a remedial composition course nor a course designed to help student improve their grammar. Students are expected to have a university-level proficiency in English.
