COMPLiANCE
In society, we always have very good reasons to do as we are told. Unfortunately, we sometimes also have very good reasons not to. Fortunately, a lot of literature is about this dilemma. In ENGL115W D200, we will read six classic texts, taking us from ancient Greece to 20th-century Canada, that allow us to think about the power of compliance, and the cost of defiance.
