STAT 270 and one of MATH 152, MATH 155, or MATH 158, all with a minimum grade of C-.
Description
CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:
This course is a continuation of STAT 270. Review of probability models. Procedures for statistical inference using survey results and experimental data. Statistical model building. Elementary design of experiments. Regression methods. Introduction to categorical data analysis. Quantitative.

- Review of STAT 270 Material on Probability and Distributions
- Parameter Estimation - Method of Moments and Likelihood Estimation
- Hypothesis Testing
- Introduction to Analysis of Variance
- Introduction to Regression Analysis
- Selected Topics, such as Categorical Analysis, Nonparametric Inference, and Quality Control
Grading
- 4 Quizzes (15% each) 60%
- Final Exam 40%
