CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

An examination of contemporary approaches to school counselling. Program development, consultation skills, counselling interventions in school counselling are considered.

COURSE DETAILS:

This course is restricted to students in a Community MEd cohort program

  • Counsellor Interview Assignment 15%
  • Self-care Plan Assignment 15%
  • Seminar Co-facilitation 15%
  • Presentation & Paper 40%
  • Class Participation 15%

NOTES:

All assignments must be completed to receive a final grade for the course.

REQUIREMENTS:

This class is a graduate seminar, so attendance is mandatory.
