COURSE DETAILS:
In this asynchronous online course, you will learn French through authentic materials, which will increase your motivation and enhance your language skills. A variety of listening and speaking activities, based on videos, songs, and films, will showcase how French speakers live and communicate naturally in everyday situations across various Francophone countries. Interactive learning will motivate you to become an active participant in the learning process and a member of your virtual classroom. Throughout the semester, you will develop intercultural skills that connect Francophone cultures with the French language. Each week, students can attend tutorial sessions via Zoom to ask questions and practice further with their instructor.
Speaking French adds value to Majors in business and finance, applied sciences, health sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Knowledge of the French language can help you find a job more easily in Canada and in many other countries around the world.
