Landsberg Trolleytruck Photo

 

6 From Mattis Schindler: This is the trolley-truck of the fromerly German town Landsberg/Oberschlesien (which is now is part of Poland called Gorzow Wiekopolsku). This vehicle was built in 1944 by Transfare from a diesel-truck at the factory FAUN with SIEMENS electric equiment. This car was runnig with 600-volts-overhead, with a cable and batteries for goods-traffic (german: Kohle). The trolleybus system in Landsberg was dismantled in the end of the Second World War. The trolley-truck going to the town of Posen and was running with two (!!!) trailers for passenger transport. Photo submitted by Leo Sullivan.
