Science & Math Peer Tutoring

Science & Math Peer Tutoring is the first peer education program at SFU linked to specific academic subjects. The program is a collaboration between faculty in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics and the SFU Peer Education program. Volunteer peer tutors provide support for select science and math classes on a drop-in basis.

History of the Program

Three of the four original Physics Peer Tutors: Sandeep, Sairvan & Alex

Peer Tutoring in Physics began in the Fall of 2014 with four undergraduate tutors. The same four tutors returned for Fall 2015. The program expanded to include Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics in the Spring of 2016.

Science & Math Peer Tutoring is part of the SFU Peer Education Program. More information can be found here: https://www.sfu.ca/students/get-involved/groups/peer-education.html
